New Excitement, New Challenges
Friday, May 23rd, 2008Just did the most critical 5-month ultrasound. All went well. The nurse actually started my session ahead of the schedule - what a miracle! Looks like as long as one keeps having baby anything is possible 
It’s a boy - with very large feet, i think. So my Mom was right; my hubby and his sister were wrong; and William’s wish didn’t come true (he wanted another sister).
For some reason, I feel more excited this time - more excited than when I had Issabella. My hubby said it was because we were very well prepared and planned for the second one. With William and this new baby (yeah, we have to find a name for him :), there were plenty of uncertainty.
Uncertainty. Surprises. Excitement. The essential ingradients of life.
On our way home, we ordered a lot of carry-out food and a HUGE icecream cake.
Somehow I feel a sense of liberation. No more weight control, for another year, at least!
